Previews will begin tomorrow, Friday, November 14 at 8PM for the Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) New York premiere of PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY, a new play by two-time Tony Award nominee, Pulitzer Prize finalist and two-time Obie Award winner Craig Lucas (Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, The Light in the Piazza, Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, The Dying Gaul).

Flea Theater Presents World Premiere of A. R. Gurney's A LIGHT LUNCH

The Flea Theater will present the World Premiere of A LIGHT LUNCH by A.R. Gurney, beginning previews December 12. The production, directed by Flea Artistic Director Jim Simpson, marks the fifth collaboration between Gurney and The Flea. A LIGHT LUNCH was written expressly for The Bats, The Flea's resident company of emerging actors. Opening night is slated for Friday, December 19.

Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced additional casting and details for the third production of its 2008/2009 Season, the New York premiere of PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY, a new play by two-time Tony Award nominee, two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist and two-time Obie Award winner Craig Lucas (Small Tragedy at Playwrights Horizons, The Light in the Piazza, Prelude to a Kiss, Reckless, The Dying Gaul). PRAYER FOR MY ENEMY is the first of two plays by Mr. Lucas that will receive their New York premiere this season.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (David Van Asselt, Artistic Director and Sandra Coudert, Managing Director) has announced a two-week extension (through October 11) of Lady, the provocative new play by Craig Wright (The Pavilion). Directed by Dexter Bullard (Bug), the critically acclaimed production is being produced in association with Barrow Street Theatre. Performances began Thursday, August 28th, 2008. Opening night was Monday, September 8th at 7pm. The show will run now run through Saturday, October 11, 2008.
