The closing night concert for the 2012 Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project was held on Friday, June 23, 2012. For the seventh year, the Johnny Mercer Foundation Songwriters Project hosted the nation's most promising songwriters across all genres including music theatre, pop, jazz, rock, and contemporary pop at Northwestern University. Christopher Plummer, Frank Langella Join 'Muhammad Ali’s Greatest Fight' on HBO

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Frank Langella has joined the cast of 'Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight,' alongside Christopher Plummer, on HBO. Plummer has signed on to play Supreme Court Associate Justice John Marshall Harlan II. Langella will step into the role of Chief Justice Warren Burger.

Canamac Productions will present a riveting new courtroom drama 'Defamation,' which explores the timely issues of race, class and religion, in a play in which Regina Wade, an African American businesswoman from Chicago's south side sues Arthur Golden, a Jewish real estate developer from Winnetka, for defamation. In a unique twist, the audience plays the jury that decides the outcome of the trial.

Entrepreneur, Philanthropist, and Geffen Playhouse Board Member, Cynthia Stafford, will host the 1st Annual Cynthia Stafford's 'Gifted Day at the Geffen' at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15th at the Geffen Playhouse in Westwood, Calif.
