Casa Mañana Presents RING OF FIRE, Now thru 6/10

From the songs of Johnny Cash comes a unique musical revue about love and faith, struggle and success, home and family. A cast of multi-talented performers takes a journey into the world Cash created in his songs. Ring of Fire features over 30 Cash songs such as "I Walk the Line," "I've Been Everywhere," "The Man in Black" and "Ring of Fire."

Cast members include Jason Edwards, Trenna Barnes, Troy Burgess, Jeri Sager, Jeff Lisenby, Brantley Kearns, John Marshall, Brent Moyer, Walter Hartman and John Foley.

Casa Mañana's production of Ring of Fire is directed by Jason Edwards. Edwards performed in Ring of Fire on Broadway and has also directed regional productions of Ring of Fire. Jane Lanier is the Assistant Director/Choreographer. Jeff Lisenby is the Music Director, Tammy Spencer is the Costume Designer, Samuel Rushen is the Lighting Designer and Duane McKee is the Sound Designer.

Opening night is tonight, June 1 with a post-performance party with the cast. The party will include an open bar and dancing to the music of the Zack King Band. Tickets for this special event are only $75.

Casa Mañana's production of Ring of Fire is presented for a limited engagement at Casa Mañana Theatre in Fort Worth. Performance dates are Friday, June 1 at 8:45 p.m.; Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; Sunday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m.; Wednesday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, June 7 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, June 8 at 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, June 9 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. This show is suitable for most audiences, parental discretion is advised.
