Canadian Pianist Wnukowski Returns Home For Solo Recital 2/4

Polish Canadian pianist Daniel Wnukowski (vnoo-KOV-skee) is performing a homecoming recital on Friday, February 4 at Glenn Gould Studio, 8 PM. A highly gifted artist who left Ontario at age 15 to pursue studies in Europe and the US, Mr. Wnukowski will perform a concert entitled 'Heaven and Hell: A Year of Liszt'. The repertoire features demonic and blissful works of Franz Liszt as well as the lyrical and dramatic works of Polish composers Chopin and Szymanowski.

Carnegie Hall Announces Their 2011-2012 Season

Matthew Ivan Bennett's most personal play to date explores the relationship between two estranged sisters (played by April Fossen and Christy Summerhays) and their late mother (played by Teresa Sanderson, who also portrays several other characters) in this complex quest for hope and healing. A play about facing family. Directed by Cheryl Ann Cluff.

The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation Announces 2010 IT Awards Nominees

The New York Innovative Theatre Foundation, the organization dedicated to celebrating Off-Off-Broadway, announced the 2010 nominees at its annual sold-out event at the Carmine Street Recreation Center located at 25 Carmine Street. The 2010 IT Awards Ceremony will be on Monday, September 20, 2010.
