Atlantic Theater Company announced the New York premiere production of Olivier Award® winning playwright Conor McPherson's play 'Port Authority,' directed by Henry Wishcamper and featuring Tony Award® nominee Brian d'Arcy James (Sweet Smell of Success), Tony Award® winner Jonathan Gallagher, Jr. (Spring Awakening) and Olivier Award® winner Jim Norton (The Seafarer).

The New York Musical Theatre Festival's second-annual BROADWAY BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition -- an informal smackdown between bands featuring Broadway and Off-Broadway actors, writers and musicians will be presented on Saturday, May 17 at 10:30pm when three rock 'n roll bands - whose roots are onstage and in the orchestra pits of several Broadway musicals - come together for a one-night-only concert at The Zipper Factory, 336 West 37th Street in Manhattan.

Today's the day the Teddy Bears had their picnic! And they brought along all their Broadway-loving friends for another successful and entertaining Broadway Bears auction, presented by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! To the thrill of bear and fan-boy alike, the 11th Annual event raised over $127,000! Top winners were 'Cyrano de Bergerac,' 'The Lion King' and 'Spamalot.'

Broadway Artists Alliance is the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers. They will present their annual Winter Intensive February 16-18. Jason Robert Brown returns as a special guest master class instructor to mentor the talented young performers (ages 10-21).
