On December 28, Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins) lent her talents and expertise by teaching a song interpretation master class to a group of eager young stars to be, ages 10-20. Each participant performed their favorite audition selection for Brown, who in turn provided them with feedback and audition tips based on her own extensive experience.

Brown also participated in a Q&A session with these young students, who were eager to learn from her genuine and helpful advice as well as her reflection on the journey that's led her to the success of landing the title role in Disney's current hit.

Participants in the one day class also worked on cold reading audition techniques and received the benefit of audition training and one on one feedback from a Broadway casting director.

Broadway Artists Alliance is the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is quickly gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers. Brown now joins Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel, Jason Robert Brown, Lauren Kennedy, Lea Michele, John Lloyd Young, John Gallagher Jr, Stephen Schwartz and Lea Salonga on Broadway Artists Alliance's recent roster of guest speakers and master class instructors.

Upcoming classes include a Wicked-themed master class (January 19) and Spring Awakening-themed master class (January 21 – reprised by popular demand).   Enrollment is selective for all Broadway Artists Alliance master classes and intensives. Those interested in enrolling can find more information about Broadway Artists Alliance's upcoming auditions or download admissions applications by visiting www.broadwayartistsalliance.org
