Heather Parcells Leads Broadway Artists Alliance Class 11/18

Heather Parcells of Broadway's A Chorus Line will lead Broadway Artists Alliance's next One-Day Master Class on Sunday, November 18.

Broadway Artists Alliance is the dynamic not-for-profit educational organization that is gaining a reputation for ensuring the future of great Broadway talent by bringing together Broadway artists and promising young performers.

The class schedule is as follows:

10:00am-10:30am - Introductions, Orientation, and Q&A with cast members from Broadway's A Chorus Line

10:30am- 12:00pm - Heather Parcells (currently playing Judy in Broadway's A Chorus Line) leads a warm up, floor combo, and puts dancers through their paces in a "mock audition" process.

12:00pm- 2pm - Heather Parcells leads an Auditioning for Broadway- The 16-Bar Vocal Audition. Heather works one on one with each dancer/singer to determine their best "16 bar audition" specifically appropriate for a contemporary musical theatre audition in the style of A Chorus Line

2pm-2:30pm - Lunch Break

2:30pm- 5:00pm - Song Interpretation Master Class with a representative from the current casting directors of A Chorus Line!  Participants will have the opportunity to receive one on one feedback from one of Broadway's leading casting directors, focusing on appropriate song selection and interpretation. Participants will additionally have the opportunity to perform one of the dance combinations learned in the morning Master Class.

Parcells, has been a guest instructor for Broadway Artists Alliance on several occasions, and continues Broadway Artists Alliance's tradition of esteemed master class instructors and guest speakers.  She accompanies Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel, Jason Robert Brown, Lauren Kennedy, John Lloyd Young, John Gallagher Jr, Stephen Schwartz, Lea Salonga, and Lea Michele on Broadway Artists Alliance's roster of guest speakers and master class instructors.
