Composer-in-Residence Andrew Lippa and the head of the Musical Theatre department (and Broadway alum) Kaitlin Hopkins took some time to speak to BroadwayWorld about their upcoming collaboration. In addition to Lippa's presence at Texas State next week (during which he will be working on his new musical, The Man In The Ceiling), TSU's Musical Theatre students will be doing a production of Lippa's The Wild Party in Spring 2011. This fall, Daryl Roth is pleased to present the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed children's musical A Dolphin Up a Tree, based on the award-winning book by Kimberly Foster. Directed by Paul Urcioli (Atlantic Theater's A Walk in the Public Area), the musical begins performances at Off-Broadway's DR2 Theatre (103 E. 15th St.) on Saturday, September 29, 2007.
