Emmy® nominated actor Victor Garber will make a guest appearance on the SHOWTIME hit series THE BIG C when it returns for its third season on April 8, 2012. Garber will play a man who causes trouble for Sean (played by John Benjamin Hickey) when an accidental phone call leads to a harassing situation. THE BIG C stars Laura Linney in her Golden Globe® Award-winning and Emmy-nominated role as Cathy Jamison, a reserved, suburban wife/mother/teacher whose terminal cancer diagnosis forces her to shake up her life and find the light side of a dark situation. Ten episodes are currently in production in Stamford, CT. THE BIG C is created and written by Darlene Hunt, who serves as executive producer, along with showrunner Jenny Bicks, Laura Linney, Neal H. Moritz and Vivian Cannon. It is produced by Sony Pictures Television.
The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography will perform its new edition,Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter on Wednesday, February 15, at 8pm, as a special benefit for SLAM (Sobriety, Learning and Motivation), a board dedicated to the creation of New York's first recovery based high school. On Wednesday, November 16, 2011 over 200 people attended 'Stockings with Care's Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City at Hudson Station Bar and Grill. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families either live in homeless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.
I don't think I'm giving away a major spoiler when I mention that toward the end of Thomas Bradshaw's Burning, there's a reference to one of the characters as having won the 2010 Tony Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play. I'm not sure I'd appreciate the honor if I was John Benjamin Hickey, as the character referred to is one of the sleazier ones in a play filled with sleaziness.

While GLEE's Ryan Murphy's is working on a big screen adaptation of 'The Normal Heart', Larry Kramer is still looking to spread the message of the play on stage. Kramer told Metro Weekly: 'Daryl Roth has been the most amazing producer anyone could ever work with. She's just in love with this play, and she pledged to me that she would take it on tour and that she would get it done in England. And she's working toward both of those.
