Popular Broadway, West End, TV and film performer John Barrowman strikes out against those who have taken to Twitter to criticize his homosexual lifestyle and recent marriage in fiery comments recently revealed by the triple-threat thespian.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, just after the Supreme Court struck down California's Proposition 8 earlier this month, stage and screen star John Barrowman married his partner of 20 years, Scott Gill. Barrowman told the Mirror: 'I started welling up when we said our vows. It was the same with our civil partnership. I think it was because I never thought we'd be able to do it. Scott and I felt completely different after our civil ceremony, like we'd made a big step. But after this I feel very proud, happy and chuffed. It feels right.'

Just last week, the Supreme Court struck down California's Proposition 8. The decision comes after the Court held hearings about the legality of the state's gay marriage ban in March. The decision will now allow gay marriage to resume in California, however it does not legalize it in other states. Stage and screen star John Barrowman just posted a video (below) announcing that he and partner Scott Gill would be taking advantage of their new rights by tying the knot. International ice dance sensation The Imperial Ice Stars bring the UK Premiere of their dazzling new production of The Nutcracker on Ice to the heart of the West End this autumn. Starring ITV's Dancing on Ice duo Keith Chegwin and Olga Sharutenko, The Nutcracker on Ice will open at the London Palladium on Thursday 24 October for a strictly limited season of 14 performances only.

Man of Steel is the blockbuster hit of the summer, and Michael Shannon, who stars as 'General Zod,' and Zachary Quinto, Star Trek and 'American Horror Story' star, are among the top celebrities scheduled to attend Wizard World Chicago Comic Con, August 8-11 at the Donald E. According to EW.com, John Barrowman (Torchwood, Arrow) will host ABC's new singing competition series Sing Your Face Off. Pop star Debbie Gibson has also signed on as a judge, alongside SNL's Darrell Hammond.
