Once a year, Celebrity Make Up Artist Rob Harmon and friends hold a cabaret-style benefit to raise money for Trinity Place, a shelter for GLBTQ Youth. Trinity is an amazing grassroots organization that provides shelter to New York's GLBTQ teenage community who have been displaced from their homes and families. Over the past several years this humble "Cabaret" show has become so successful that it has produced more than half the church's annual budget. The event on Sunday night featured appearances by Shoshana Bean (Wicked), Joey Taranto (Rock of Ages), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked), Donna Vivino (Wicked), Scott Alan, Neil Davis, Breedlove, SIRPAUL, Joe Hubrich (Housewives of Beverly Hills), Felicia Ricci (Wicked), Libby Servais (Wicked) and was hosted by Bianca Del Rio Sunday night's event raised more than $12,000 for the shelter. ROCK OF AGES, the critically acclaimed, five-time Tony Award® nominated Broadway musical, which continues to play to packed houses on Broadway, across the United States in its first national tour and in Toronto, will open at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne, Australia on Saturday, April 9, 2011.

Producers Randy Taradash and Martian Entertainment announced plans for a private reading of a newly revised script of bare, the award-winning rock musical that has garnered a worldwide fan base since its 2000 Los Angeles premiere. The reading will take place on November 1 in New York City.

Many of everyone's Broadway and off-Broadway favorites, including Michael Urie, Wesley Taylor, Jennifer Damiano, Karen Olivo, Mitchell Jarvis and more have teamed up on the webisode project Billy Green.

As BroadwayWorld has reported, Tony Award nominee Constantine Maroulis will perform for the last time as 'Drew' on Broadway Thursday, September 9 before headlining the First National Tour of ROCK OF AGES, debuting in Chicago on September 21. Joey Taranto will take over the role of 'Drew' at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street). Additional cast changes include Mitchell Jarvis playing his final performance as 'Lonny' on Sunday, September 5 and taking over the role of 'Stacee Jaxx' from James Carpinello, who will play his final performance on a date to be determined. Jay Klaitz, recently of Lend Me a Tenor, to begin performances as 'Lonny' on Monday, September 6. BroadwayWorld has learned that joining Maroulis on tour are Joey Calveri, Erika Shannon, Angela Brydon, Casey Tuma and Burn the Floor's MiG Ayesa, who will be assuming the role of Stacee Jaxx.

While most celebs travel incognito, Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis basked in the spotlight last night. After his performance of ROCK OF AGES, the Tony Award nominee graciously signed autographs for fans who lined up outside the stage door, before crossing the street to his own private CitySights tour bus. The former 'Idol' star and his entourage headed over to the show's after party at B.B. Kings on top of the iconic double-decker blue bus for all passersby to see. Last night, August 5, the ROCK OF AGES Broadway cast and members of the newly announced touring cast partied together at BB Kings in Times Square to live 80's tunes by Lipstick & Leather, in addition to additional rock band cover singers. Broadway's ROCK OF AGES celebrated its 1 year anniversary on Broadway last night, April 6, 2010. In honor of the rock hit musical, Tony di Napoli's restaurant presented the cast with a portrait of its star, Constantine Maroulis, to be displayed on its famed wall.
