Acclaimed Off Broadway drama HOLD THESE TRUTHS, Jeanne Sakata's one-man show inspired by the true story of second generation Japanese-American Gordon Hirabayashi, travels to Hawaii for a limited engagement of six performances at Honolulu Theatre for Youth's Tenney Theatre, February 21 - March 2, 2013.

Due to the loss of power downtown, the Award-winning Epic Theatre Ensemble, now in their 12th season, will cancel performances this weekend, while extending for an additional week (November 19th - November 25th).

Epic Theatre Ensemble has announced post-performance forums lead by scholars, authors, and thinkers, which also includes members of the cast and creative team, immediately following every performance of DISPATCHES FROM (A)MENDED AMERICA, directed by Ron Russell, and HOLD THESE TRUTHS, directed by Lisa Rothe. These Off-Broadway productions are playing in repertory at the Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 East 14th Street). Post Show talk-backs are sponsored by the New York City Council on the Humanities.

Maplewood, NJ is a Rockwell-esque little nook where theatre people with families hideaway beneath the oak trees. Three years ago, when baby #2 made his appearance, my husband and I took a deep breath and plunged our lives, head first, into this quaint suburban haven.
