Project: Theater will present the World Premiere of OCCUPATION, written by Ken Ferrigni and directed by Joe Jung. OCCUPATION begins performances on Thursday, June 6 for a limited engagement through Sunday, June 23. Press opening is Wednesday, June 12 at 8 PM. The performance schedule is Wednesday - Friday at 8 PM, Saturday at 2 PM & 8 PM, Sunday at 2 PM. Please note there is no performance on Sunday, June 9 but an added performance on Monday, June 10 at 8 PM. There is no matinee performance on Saturday, June 15. Presentations of Page 73 Productions' developmental workshop of A THICK DESCRIPTION OF HARRY SMITH (Volume I) by Chicago-based playwright Carlos Murillo (DARK PLAY OR STORIES FOR BOYS) and directed by Kip Fagan (Page 73's JACK'S PRECIOUS MOMENT) will begin Thursday, June 28 at 2pm and continue Friday, June 29 at 2pm; Sunday, July 1 at 7pm and Monday, July 2 at 3pm (please note the altered performance time for the July 2nd performance) at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street). Atlanta's Alliance Theatre launches its world premiere of Stephen King and John Mellencamp's new blues and rock ghost musical tonight, April 11. The show plays now through May 13. King, Mellencamp, director Susan V. Booth and producer T Bone Burnett recently spoke at a press conference about the process of creating the musical.

Atlanta's Alliance Theatre will produce the world premiere of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County, a chilling new musical with music and lyrics by John Mellencamp and book by Stephen King, as the closing show of the Alliance Stage Series set to open on April 4. A workshop of the show will be held beginning December 5, and will be led by Broadway veterans Emily Skinner, Shuler Hensley, Justin Guarini and Jake La Botz. The workshop will be directed by Susan V. Booth and feature musical direction by T Bone Burnett.
