The next Musical Theatre Melodies broadcast, hosted by Rob Morrison on 96.5 FM on Tuesday, November 2 will mark the 60th anniversary of the Robert Wright and George Forrest musical KEAN (from a play by Jean-Paul Sartre and the comedy by Alexandre Dumas).

The ultra-low budget film Isn't It Delicious, which can be seen in the upcoming Manhattan Film Festival, stars award-winning theater actors, Kathleen Chalfant, Keir Dullea and Alice Ripley, who skillfully demonstrate that all the world is indeed a stage as they play out their drama and antics across Connecticut and New York City. 'Isn't It Delicious' will screen twice at the Quad Theatre tonight, June 23rd and the 25th respectively. The 1st screening is already sold out.

Broadway and Screen Star Byron Palmer Dies at 89

Film and television actor and former Broadway star Byron Palmer died last week of natural causes in Los Angeles. Palmer, who launched his acting career in the 1940s with Broadway's Where's Charley, went on to have a prolific career on screen, most notably starring on television in This Is Your Music.
