Twisted Flicks Screens THEM! 9/23-25

A classic, cheesy "B" movie is shown on our full-sized, in-house movie screen without its original sound. The Flick team of professional improvisers sits in the front row and creates all new dialog, sound effects and music live - all based on suggestions from that night's audience.

Each night, the picture may be the same, but the movie is completely different. The show is fun, fast-paced, funny and suitable for all ages.

This Month's Flick: Them! (1954)

Police Sergeant Ben Peterson (James Whitmore) investigates some strange disappearances and deaths in New Mexico. Only with the help of two entomologists, doctors Harold (Edmund Gwenn) and Pat Medford (Joan Weldon) is the truth discovered. Early atomic tests in New Mexico have caused common ants to mutate into giant man-eating monsters that threaten civilization. One of the first of the "nuclear monster" movies, and the first "big bug" film, Them! was nominated for an Oscar for Special Effects and won a Golden Reel Award for Best Sound Editing.

Twisted Flicks performs the last weekend of every month. September's flick will perform September 23, 24 and 25th at 8pm at Wing-It Productions at 5510 University Way NE. Tickets are $14.
