THEATER TALK, co-hosted for its 22nd consecutive year on New York television by Michael Riedel of the New York Post and producer Susan Haskins, premieres its 2013-2014 season by focusing on two new Off-Broadway successes, The Old Friends by Horton Foote at Signature Theatre and Fetch Clay, Make Man by Will Power at New York Theatre Workshop.

Sh-K-Boom / Ghostlight Records releases the 2013 Off-Broadway cast recording of the hit Second Stage Theatre production of The Last Five Years, created and directed by Jason Robert Brown, both in stores and via online outlets today, September 24. Second Stage Theatre (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director) extended this production starring Adam Kantor and Betsy Wolfe three times.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced a one week extension today for the world premiere of Elevator Repair Service's ARGUENDO, directed by John Collins. ARGUENDO began performances on Tuesday, September 10, and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, October 6. It will now run an additional week through Sunday, October 13 with an official press opening on Tuesday, September 24.

Signature Theatre has announced an additional one-week extension for the World Premiere of Horton Foote's THE OLD FRIENDS, directed by Michael Wilson. The production will now play through Sunday, October 13. THE OLD FRIENDS opened to critical acclaim on September 12 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Limited $25 subsidized tickets remain for the production's initial run. Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.
