Women's Project Theater, under the leadership of newly-appointed Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty, is pleased to present the World Premiere of BRIGHT HALF LIFE - a new play by Pulitzer Prize finalist Tanya Barfield and directed by Tony Award nominee Leigh Silverman - in a five-week limited engagement at New York City Center Stage II (131 W. 55th Street) from Tuesday, February 17 to March 22, 2015. Opening night is set for Wednesday, February 25.

Signature Theatre presents the New York Premiere of The Liquid Plain by Naomi Wallace, directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah. The production runs through March 29, 2015 with a March 8 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Inside Broadway's Executive Director Michael Presser has announced that on Thursday, March 5, the Lyric Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) will be visited by thousands of NYC public school students as the theatre arts and education organization presents its popular program Creating the Magic. Featuring the cast and production crew of the Broadway musical ON THE TOWN, the 80 minute program will be offered at 10:45am and 1:15pm.

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the Roundabout Underground world-premiere production of Little Children Dream of God, a new play by Jeff Augustin. The world premiere of Little Children Dream of God began preview performances Off-Broadway on January 24 and officially opens tonight, February 17, 2015 at the Black Box Theatre in the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Center for Theatre (111 West 46th Street). This is a limited engagement through Sunday, April 5, 2015.

Golden Globe and Drama Desk Award winner Michael C. Hall will return to Hedwig and the Angry Inch from tonight, February 17 - Saturday, February 21. John Cameron Mitchell will continue in the show through Saturday, February 14 and will then take a one week leave to attend to a knee injury. John will return as 'Hedwig' on Tuesday, February 24 through Sunday, April 26.

HAMILTON might not be headed to Broadway this season, but it could be making its way to the small screen soon.

The company of the Munchkinland tour of Wicked just welcomed Alyssa Fox as Elphaba and Liana Hunt as Nessarose in Greenville, SC. Fox and Hunt join a cast that includes Carrie St. Louis as Glinda, Kristine Zbornik as Madame Morrible and John Davidson as The Wizard.
