According to The Hollywood Reporter, the next BOURNE movie has been delayed until July 15, 2016. Universal delayed the film in order to make room for Straight Outta Compton, a movie about N.W.A.

The 2014-2015 season of The REP, Point Park University's professional theatre company, will include two world premieres by Pittsburgh playwrights, a classic by Nobel laureate John Steinbeck and a hilarious comedy about an American singer renowned for her lack of rhythm, tone and especially an ability to sing.

According to the New York Times, Mad Men star Elisabeth Moss is on her way back to Broadway. Producer Jeffrey Richards is currently in talks with the actress to play the title character in an upcoming Broadway revival of the Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Richards is reportedly eying Tony winner Pam McKinnon to direct the project, which is aiming to open in ' late winter or spring 2015.' An official announcement has not yet been made.

The Old Globe today announced it will present Emmy Award-winning actor Richard Thomas ("The Waltons," Fifth of July, "The Americans") starring in A Distant Country Called Youth, an intimate look at the making of an artist, adapted by Steve Lawson from early letters Tennessee Williams sent to his family, friends, and professional associates. This one-night-only engagement takes place on Monday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m.

The Steppenwolf Theatre Company Ensemble has announced its newest member, playwright Bruce Norris. Among his many accomplishments, Norris is the author of The Qualms, playing July 3 - August 31 in Steppenwolf's Downstairs Theatre. Since 2000, Steppenwolf has produced seven of Norris's plays, including Clybourne Park and the world premieres of A Parallelogram, The Unmentionables, The Pain and the Itch, We All Went Down to Amsterdam, Purple Heart and The Infidel.

This Fundraising Event in support of the Nathan Award-winning editor/writer/artist Randy Gener will be held at Purple Yam restaurant on 1314 Cortelyou Road in Brooklyn. It will feature a talk by journalist and Columbia University Prof. Sheila Coronel and a comedy skit by SPIT or the Silly People's Improv Theater, Manila's premiere improv group.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Joe Masteroff, John Kander and Fred Ebb's Tony winning musical Cabaret, starring Tony Award-winner Alan Cumming and Golden Globe-winner Michelle Williams, begins previews tomorrow, Friday March 21. Cabaret officially opens on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). This is a 24-week limited engagement. Arts For All has announced this year's annual benefit concert at Joe's Pub on April 28th, hosted by Aaron Lazar, star of Sting's upcoming, new musical, The Last Ship, and directed by Alexander Gemignani, currently appearing in Violet on Broadway. The evening will feature performances by other Broadway performers, donating their time and talents to raise money and awareness for Arts For All's free arts programming with in-need children in all five boroughs of New York City. Tickets are available now through Joe's Pub.

Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man is a new comedy beginning performances at The 777 Theatre (777 Eighth Avenue, between 47th and 48th Streets) on Wednesday, January 22nd. On Saturday, January 25th, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man will hold a post-show talk-back with Dan Anderson and Maggie Berman, the authors of the international best-selling book on which the show is based. The talk-back, moderated by award-winning writer Michael Musto, will also feature playwright Matt Murphy and director Tim Drucker. This event will be held following the 2:00pm matinee that day (3:30 pm). The press opening for Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man is set for February 9, 2014.

Allen will take on the role of Margaret O'Neal, 'the head of an all-boys military academy,' located just outside of Seattle.

Lange will play Wahlberg's mother, who will take on the role originally made famous by James Caan. The film follows 'a college professor whose gambling addiction takes over his life even after his debts lead to some nasty new friends.'

Steppenwolf Theatre Company and ensemble member Tracy Letts, Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning playwright of August: Osage County, hosts Juliette Lewis, Margo Martindale and Julianne Nicholson as the guests of honor at the fifth annual Steppenwolf Salutes Women in the Arts fundraising luncheon today, December 9, 2013 at 12 noon at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago (120 E Delaware Pl).

Justin Lin, best known for directing the last few FAST & FURIOUS films has signed on to helm the film, which Universal set up earlier this summer, is written by INVCITUS' Anthony Peckham, and continues the story of 'Aaron Cross,' played by Jeremy Renner. Renner's character succeeded Matt Damon's 'Jason Bourne' in the previous film, THE BOURNE LEGACY.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jessica Lange expanded on her reasons for leaving American Horror Story following the show's fourth season on FX. Lange has been a leading player on AHS since its first season in 2011.

This weekend, November 15, 16 and 17, Megan Hilty, the multi-talented star of NBC's Smash and Sean Saves the World, will take the Houston Symphony stage to pay special tribute to the tunes made famous by stars like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Dolly Parton. Along with vocalist Aaron Lazar, Hilty will perform cherished songs like 'The Lady is a Tramp,' 'The Best is Yet to Come' and '9 to 5.' The show wouldn't be complete without beloved classics 'Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend' and 'New York, New York,' as well as popular songs of Cole Porter, Harold Arlen and music from Ms. Hilty's upcoming album.
