Following two previous much-acclaimed seasons of American drama, the Ustinov now presents The American Season 2014: three brand new works, all UK premieres. The three plays are Dan LeFranc's THE BIG MEAL, directed by Michael Boyd, Keith Huff's gritty two-hander, A STEADY RAIN, directed by David Grindley and Lynn Nottage's multi award-winning INTIMATE APPAREL, directed by Laurence Boswell.
The Invisible Man opened on 24 November and is booking until 13 February 2011. Illusions are by Paul Kieve, with set designs by Paul Farnsworth, costume designs by Matthew Wright, lighting by Jason Taylor, music by Steve Edis, sound by Gareth Owen and choreography by Sam Spencer-Lane.

Patrick Barlow's adaptation of The 39 Steps, directed by Maria Aitken, will celebrate its second birthday this month as over 140,000 tickets are released for a new booking period, until 6 September 2009. On 13 October 2008 Tessa Churchard will join current cast members Jo Stone-Fewings, Alan Perrin and Nigel Betts at the Criterion Theatre to play the three female roles - Annabella Schmidt, Pamela and Margaret - in this hilarious 100 minute whodunnit.
