Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats, the second longest-running Broadway musical (only surpassed by Lloyd Webber's own 'The Phantom of the Opera'), and fourth longest-running West End musical, returns in high definition and digital sound to GREAT PERFORMANCES where it had its 1998 world television premiere. The special encore presentation will air tonight, November 21 at 9 p.m. ET on PBS (check local listings) as part of the PBS Arts Fall Festival.

A new production of Cats is set to open at the Panasonic Theatre in Toronto on May 28, and is being produced by the same producers as the now famous 1985 production, which played the Elgin Theatre.

Stage and television star Brian Conley will play 'Caractacus Potts' in the smash hit musical 'CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG' at the London Palladium for 14 weeks from 15 March. At the same time, hit recording artist Alvin Stardust will take over the role of 'The Childcatcher' for 14 weeks. Jo Gibb will play the role of 'Truly Scrumptious' from 15 March.
