Tony Award-winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch) will lead an industry reading of Citizen Ruth: An American Musical Comedy in New York City on Thursday, March 10, 2016. Based on the Miramax film, screenplay by Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, Citizen Ruth features a book and lyrics by Mark Leydorf and music by Michael Brennan. The invite-only reading will precede an anticipated Off-Broadway run this summer.

Now onstage at the theatre in NoHo, LOMBARDI, an LA premiere, has no great dramatic plot or conflict but is true to form, an excellent slice.of.life character study of the man of the hour whom the play is named after. Boasting brilliant direction from Gregg T. Daniel and an outstanding cast of six, LOMBARDI, like a good football season, should pack 'em in.

There will be just four performances of a special adaptation of their recent hit edition, Forbidden Broadway Alive and Kicking! The cast includes members of the Tony Award®-winning New York company, including Forbidden Broadway stalwarts Gina Kreiezmar, Marcus Stevens, Kevin B. McGlynn and Trisha Rapier (who hails from Orange County!). This touring edition is presented by John Freedson and Harriet Yellin.

With more names to be announced soon, the #BroadwayBlitz will be kicked off at The Helen Hayes Theater (240 W. 44th Street) on Tuesday, January 28 at the 7pm show with Green Bay Packer wide receiver Randall Cobb. Next on the roster is Detroit Lions running back Joique Bell at the 8pm show on Wednesday, January 29, followed by four-time Pro-Bowl running back Ahman Green at the matinee performance on Saturday, February 1, 2014.

Although football's Super Bowl trophy is named for him, few know the real story of Vince Lombardi - his inspirations, his passions and his ability to drive people to achieve what they never thought possible. In the play, a diligent young reporter named Michael McCormick takes us inside the life of this legendary icon. Lombardi ran on Broadway in 2010-2011 coinciding with Green Bay's championship run which culminated with the Packers being awarded the Lombardi trophy for their victory in Super Bowl XLV.

Ocean State Theatre Company (OSTC), which recently launched its first full season in its new state-of-the-art theatre in Warwick is proud to present Academy Award-winner Eric Simonson's new American play, Lombardi. The New England premiere presentation, with additional support provided by Healthrax Fitness & Wellness, will enjoy a limited run at Ocean State Theatre from November 6-24.

'Lombardi,' a play about the legendary Green Bay Packers coach Vince Lombardi, made its professional area debut on September 20 at the Eagle Theatre in Hammonton, N.J. The theatre will be one of the first playhouses in America to produce the show since it close on Broadway in 2011, giving regional audiences a rare opportunity to catch this biographical drama.
