The Palace Theater kicked off the fall season with LOMBARDI and the reviews have been fantastic!

The legendary and inspiring story of the football coach who many would say is one of the greatest in NFL history is celebrated in LOMBARDI, which opened September 23, and runs through November 1, 2015. Based on the best-selling biography When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi by Pulitzer Prize winner David Maraniss, LOMBARDI is written by Academy Award winner Eric Simonson. Set in 1965, LOMBARDI brings coaching icon Vince Lombardi to life on stage and chronicles the story of not only the Green Bay Packers coaching legend, but the man behind the Super Bowl trophy named in his honor as he creates one of the greatest teams in NFL history. Audiences are riveted as LOMBARDI rises to coaching greatness with an unprecedented desire to be a champion, perfectionist tenacity, and unmatched ability to inspire his players while demonstrating life lessons learned both on and off the gridiron.

On Friday, October 16, 2015, the Palace Theater is honored to be hosting special guests for the performance of Lombardi. Pulitzer Prize Author David Maraniss, NFL Hall of Famer Dave Robinson, and Author Royce Boyles.

The Palace Theater, Wisconsin Dells' newest professional theater, located at 564 Wisconsin Dells Pkwy South, started the fall season with Lombardi, September 23, 2015. Directed by Patrick Vassel. Set design by Robert A. Kovach. Cast members: Edward Furs as Vince Lombardi, Lisa Franklin as Marie Lombardi, Conor Tansey as Michael McCormick, Tucker Hammock as Jim Taylor, Sergio Pasquariello as Paul Hornung, Guyviaud Joseph as Dave Robinson, and Brent Hampson as the male understudy.

The Palace Theater is a state-of-the-art, 700-seat, regional theater destination that produces classic American musicals in a style and quality consistent with that of Broadway. The Palace Theater produces a number of family-friendly shows annually, while serving a full meal included in the ticket price.

With an ideal location across the street from the Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort, the country's largest waterpark resort, The Palace Theater is likely to become a major cultural and tourism attraction for the Dells' 5 million annual visitors. The community of Wisconsin Dells is predominantly comprised of the City of Wisconsin Dells and the Village of Lake Delton. Its roots as a tourism community date back more than 150 years when the first visitors came for scenic tours of the Wisconsin River with towering sandstone cliffs hugging its shores. Today, Wisconsin Dells is widely recognized as "The Waterpark Capital of the World!®"
