The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has released new production images featuring the previously announced new cast of the multi-award winning show, which is now playing its eighth year in the West End having opened at the Cambridge Theatre seven years ago today on 25 October 2011.

The Royal Shakespeare Company's Matilda The Musical has announced new casting with Hayden Tee playing Miss Trunchbull alongside Rob Compton and Holly Dale Spencer as Mr and Mrs Wormwood. Gina Beck will continue to play Miss Honey, having joined the company in September 2017. Isobel Hubble and Francesca McKeown will join Sarah Munday and Olivia Wells in sharing the title role of Matilda. The multi award-winning production is currently playing its seventh year in the West End and is booking until 20 October 2019.

Bronte will be joined by Kane Oliver Parry as King's husband and song-writing partner 'Gerry Goffin', Amy Ellen Richardson as song-writer 'Cynthia Weil', Matthew Gonsalves as song-writer 'Barry Mann', Carol Royle as King's mother 'Genie Klein' and Adam Howden as music publisher and producer 'Donnie Kirshner'. Birmingham Hippodrome announces that Bront Barb will reprise her celebrated role as 'Carole King' in the return of the UK and Ireland tour of the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winning BEAUTIFUL THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL from Wed 31 Jan Sat 3 Feb. The production returns to Birmingham following a sell-out week of shows in November 2017.

It's just six weeks until the award-winning show, which tells the story of the hugely talented American singer-songwriter, opens. And today producers have revealed the first images of the production which will entertain and enthrall Manchester audiences over the festive season.

Last night (6 March 2017) in front of a sell-out performance, Carole King surprised the cast and audience when she made her second visit to see the West End production of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. 

Last night (9 February 2016) was Carole King's birthday and at the Aldwych Theatre the Olivier, Tony and Grammy award-winningBeautiful - The Carole King Musical celebrated its second birthday in the West End. 

Matthew Seadon-Young, Barbara Drennan and Joseph Prouse, recently joined the West End cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical to play Gerry Goffin (Carole King's husband and song-writing partner), Genie Klein (King's mother) and Donnie Kirshner (music publisher and producer). Cassidy Janson continues in the title role as well as Lorna Want as song-writer Cynthia Weil, a role for which she won the 2015 Olivier for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical, and Ian McIntosh as song-writer Barry Mann.
