Two River Theater announces the spring schedule of guest artists for First Monday Masters, its popular series of master classes. All of the classes are taught by actors, directors, playwrights and designers affiliated with Two River Theater's 25th Anniversary Season.

Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (Daniella Topol, Artistic Director; Annie Middleton, Managing Director; Victor Cervantes, Jr., Associate Producer) just celebrated opening night of Pulitzer Prize finalist Dael Orlandersmith's play UNTIL THE FLOOD, playing for a limited engagement through February 18, 2018 at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place). All performances will be followed by a post-show conversation.

The New Group presents the world premiere of Seth Zvi Rosenfeld's Downtown Race Riot, launching the company's 2017-2018 Season. Directed by Scott Elliott, this production features Cristian DeMeo, David Levi, Moise Morancy, Josh Pais, Sadie Scott, Chlo Sevigny and Daniel Sovich. A limited Off-Broadway engagement is slated through December 23 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (The Romulus Linney Courtyard Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street). In honor of Trans Awareness Week (November 14-20) and in light of the recent election results, Honest Accomplice Theatre (HAT) launches The Trans Literacy Project --  In these videos you can hear trans people speaking to the things they find important for others to know. While a seemingly simple concept, this is one of the first web series about trans people's experiences from the perspective of trans people.

The Flea Theater presents Kim Davies' World Premiere Smoke, directed by Flea Resident Director Tom Costello (The Wundelsteipen (and other difficult roles for young people)) and featuring members of The Bats, the resident acting company at The Flea. Says Producing Director Carol Ostrow, 'where 50 Shades of Grey dances on the surface of BDSM, Smoke cuts to the core.' Performances will now run through February 1, 2015 at The Flea, where performances started in August of 2014.
