The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing® will honor eight-time GRAMMY® Award winner Willie Nelson at its annual GRAMMY Week celebration on Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019, at The Village Studios in West Los Angeles. Now in its 12th year, this event will celebrate the artistic achievements and creative genius of Nelson, one of the music industry's most beloved icons. The event also acknowledges the overall industry contributions of the Producers & Engineers Wing's more than 6,400 professional members. GRAMMY Week culminates with the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards® on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019, airing live on the CBS Television Network, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT.
Rock/Soul Singer-Songwriter James Morrison to Tour South Africa for the First Time

Showtime Management today announced that British singer-songwriter and guitarist James Morrison will perform in South Africa for the first time, early next year. Brought to you by 5FM Legends the two-city concert tour begins at Montecasino's Teatro with 8pm concerts on Tuesday, 22 January and Wednesday, 23 January thereafter moving to Cape Town's Kirstenbosch Garden for one concert only at 7pm on Saturday, 26 January 2019. Johannesburg concert tickets on sale at Computicket and Cape Town tickets at Webtickets.

Fresh from her stint as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago, Rumer Willis and her "nonsexual life partner" Tye Blue took Feinstein's/54 Below by storm with Homage, their soulful and decidedly jazzy cabaret show. Thoroughly enjoying their New York City cabaret debuts, the talented duo had no high concept for the evening. "We're not trying to reinvent cabaret," Blue said. They sang the songs they love to sing in the car when driving around Los Angeles together. As eye rolling and groan inducing as this concept may sound, it must be noted that this simplicity ensured that each and every number had the enthusiastic audience energized and left them applauding and cheering with abandon.

According to Deadline.com, the children of Bert Berns, songwriting contemporary of Carole King, Gerry Goffin, and many other '60s artists, are pushing to have, PIECE OF MY HEART: THE BERT BERNS STORY, the Off-Broadway bio musical about their father, taken to the Great White Way.

Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story, the crowd-pleasing new musical based on the life and songs of legendary songwriter Bert Berns, recently extended its current run two extra weeks, and play its final performance on Sunday, September 14. The rock musical began performances on June 25, and officially opened on Monday, July 21, 2014. With a book by Daniel Goldfarb, direction and choreography by Denis Jones, and featuring the stirring songbook of songwriter/producer Bert Berns, Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story, plays at The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd St).
