9 Works Theatrical's production of one of Broadway's all-time biggest musical comedy hits, 'La Cage aux Folles,' which features book by Harvey Fierstein ('Kinky Boots,' 'Newsies') and music and lyrics by Jerry Herman ('Hello, Dolly!' 'Mame'), opened Saturday, February 28, and will run through Sunday, March 29, at Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, RCBC Plaza in Makati City.

The glamorous production La Cage Aux Folles, a 'modern family musical' and Broadway comedy revival, is coming to San Antonio! The show opens Friday, April 3 at the Woodlawn Theatre under the direction of Tim Hedgepeth.

The Daily Mail writes that Rebecca LaChance will play 'Mabel' opposite Michael Ball's 'Mack' at Chichester this summer in a major new production of MACK & MABEL, directed by Jonathan Church. The show opens at the Festival Theatre in July, followed by a UK tour from October.

When Cole Porter wrote, 'Anything Goes,' he could have easily been referring to New York cabaret circa the 2000-sies. One of the joys of attending and reviewing cabaret shows in the Big Apple these days is that every performing style, show theme, cultural perspective, political point of view, race, gender, and sexual preference is represented on a stage. Some cabaret purists may not agree, but the genre seems to have no boundaries in terms of what is acceptable and what is not. And as long as a show is entertaining, who cares about boundaries and strict definitions of what works in the art form?
