Original cast members from the 1970 Broadway production of THE ROTHSCHILDS gathered together to visit the York Theatre Company's current production of ROTHSCHILD & SONS, an intimate one-act reimagining of the nine-time Tony-nominated musical with music by Jerry Bock, lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and book by Sherman Yellen, presented in association with Arnold Mittelman and the National Jewish Theater Foundation. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Roundabout Theatre Company has set new dates for the upcoming starry musical She Loves Me. Preview performances will begin on February 19, 2016 and with the official opening on March 17, 2016. This is a limited engagement through June 5, 2016 at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).

Malcolm Gets (Tony Award nominee for Amour) and Ted Keegan (Star of Broadway's Phantom of the Opera) have joined the lineup for the Encompass New Opera Theatre (Nancy Rhodes, Artistic Director) gala to honor legendary Broadway performer BARBARA COOK and lyricist LEE ADAMS (Bye Bye Birdie, Golden Boy, Applause) with a star-studded musical salute on Sunday, October 25.

An impressive line-up of Australian talent has been assembled for the new production of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, opening at Melbourne's Princess Theatre from December 29th. Followed by a Sydney season at the Capitol Theatre from March 24th 2016.

Roundabout Theater Company announced today that they have partnered with TodayTix, the premiere mobile theater ticketing app, to offer Retro Roundabout. National Alliance for Musical Theatre has announced final casting for the 27th ANNUAL FESTIVAL OF NEW MUSICALS, which takes place on Thursday, October 15 and Friday, October 16 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

Producers Jeffrey Richards, Jerry Frankel, and Jam Theatricals are thrilled to announce the opening of the box office for the upcoming Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roofon Friday, October 9 at 10:00 AM with a special offer. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the original Fiddler's “Best Musical” Tony Award, seats will be available for $50. These seats for select winter performances must be purchased in person at the box office.

The Off-Broadway cast recording of the new Bock and Harnick musical, Rothschild & Sons, an intimate reimagining of the Tony nominated musical The Rothschilds, will be recorded and released by JAY Records.  Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at The Avatar Studios on Monday, October 26, 2015 to lay down the tracks for the recording scheduled for release on JAY Records in early January.  Executive Producers are John Yap and Arnold Mittelman.
