Wilson Jermaine Heredia to Join LA CAGE AUX FOLLES Feb. 15

It's just been announced that Wilson Jermaine Heredia, who famously created the drag queen role of Angel in the 1996 Off Broadway production of RENT before winning a Tony for the same role on Broadway will join LA CAGE AUX FOLLES on Broadway on February 15th.
Heredia will replace Robin de Jesus in the part, and joins the production at the same time as new stars Harvey Fierstein and Jeffrey Tambor.

Broadway stars and Rock stars joined the audience to dance the night away when Rockers on Broadway returned to BB Kings Blues Club last night, November 8th. Directed by Donnie Kehr, ROCKERS ON BROADWAY-Dance Party featured some of the hottest dance tunes from Elvis to GaGa, performed by Broadway stars and the Rock stars who made them famous. The concert benefits Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, Broadway Dreams Foundation, Broadway in South Africa, and The Bendheim Performing Arts Center Scholarship Fund.

Rat King LLC, Adam Blanshay and Stephenie Overton in association with Brierpatch Productions have announced that TALES FROM THE TUNNEL, the hilarious comedy about the NYC subway system co-written and co-directed by Troy Diana and James Valletti featuring Tony Award Winner Wilson Jermaine Heredia ("Angel" from RENT, Broadway and film) will end its run at the 45 Bleecker Street Theatre on Sunday, October 3, 2010 after 12 weeks of performances.
