The WICKED tour has just announced it will welcome Jessica Vosk as Elphaba and Kristen Martin as Nessarose beginning Wednesday, September 7 at The Morris Performing Arts Center in South Bend.

Polarity Ensemble Theatre presents the world premiere of Gail Parrish's LEAVINGS, a story of racial reconciliation that brings an important voice to the public dialogue on Black Lives Matter. Directed by Ashley Honore Roberson, it plays October 21 - November 20, 2016 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614, where Polarity is a resident company.

The Tacoma theater community is coming together to support the victims of the Orlando massacre with a special one night only staged reading of The Laramie Project on Sunday, June 26th at 7:30pm. The event will be held at Tacoma Little Theatre. The brainchild of Rachel Fitzgerald, this benefit came from a simple question. 'What can I do?'

Polarity Ensemble Theatre presents an innovative interpretation of Shakespeare's A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, the bard's most popular comedy. Director Ann Keen sets the production in an America of the early 1960's, a time of distinctive transition in our culture, as music, morality, and racial relations began a revolution. Like Ann's HAMLET (which won Polarity the honor of Best Emerging Theatre Company from the Chicago Reader) and her A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE, this production will be infused with music. It plays April 20 through May 22, 2015 at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave, Chicago, IL 60614, where the eleven year old Polarity is a resident company. For the first time in both of their histories, the South Sound's two oldest theatre companies are teaming up, and exchanging their Managing Artistic Directors, for the closing shows of their respective Seasons. Lakewood Playhouse's Managing Artistic Director, John Munn, will be directing Tacoma Little Theatre's Musical CABARET - The Final Show of their 96th Season opening on May 22nd, 2015. Tacoma Little Theatre's Managing Artistic Director, Chris Serface, will be directing Lakewood Playhouse's Musical DROOD: THE MYSTERY of EDWIN DROOD - The Final Show of their 76th Season opening on May 29th, 2015.

?Tacoma Little Theatre closes their 96th season with one of the best known musicals of all time, CABARET. The production is directed by John Munn, with Musical Direction by Pamela Merritt-Caldwell, and choreography by Lexi Barnett.

If crowd appeal is any indication of a show's worth, Wicked is a multimillion-dollar treasure. WICKED's second national tour, 'The Munchkinland Tour,' flew into the Fox Theatre on Wednesday, February 18 to play a 3-week engagement, marking the show's fourth engagement at the historic Atlanta venue. Not surprisingly, this production did not disappoint.
