Robert Nederlander Jr., Stanley Browne and Nederlander Worldwide Events have just announced the presentation of BROADWAY AMBASSADORS at the 14th Annual Havana Theatre Festival in Havana, Cuba. Directed by Rob Evan (Jekyll & Hyde, Les Misérables, Tarzan), BROADWAY AMBASSADORS is a full-length concert showcasing the many musical styles that make up the Broadway Songbook. BROADWAY AMBASSADORS features performances from Luba Mason (Chicago, How to Succeed . . . The Will Rogers Follies) Capathia Jenkins (Caroline or Change, The Look of Love), Norm Lewis (Porgy & Bess, The Little Mermaid, Side Show) and Mr. Evan. Jeremy Roberts is the musical director. Performances will take place at the historic Grand Theatre of Havana - also known as the Garcia Lorca Theatre - on November 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2011. In addition, the artists from the production will conduct several workshops and master classes for students of ISA, the State run performing arts institute.

Broadway star, Recording Artist, and Trans-siberian Orchestra member, Rob Evan will bring his show, The Rock Tenor in the Grand Illusion to (le) Poisson Rouge, Monday night, August 22 at 10pm. Special guest performers from Broadway, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra and the world of ROCK will also be featured. Globalvision Records producer and long-time Evan collaborator Jeremy Roberts will provide musical direction. The evening will highlight a 6-piece rock band and four vocalists. Proceeds go to benefit BROADWAY CARES/EQUITY FIGHTS AIDS. The music from Frank Wilhorn's DRACULA will finally be available to theatre fans everywhere, as GlobalVision Records has just released the Studio Cast Recording of the show. Featuring the talents of Broadway favorites Kate Shindle, Lauren Kennedy, James Barbour, Norm Lewis, Euan Morton, and Rob Evan, the new album is available now on iTunes, and will be available on Amazon.com later this week

The Rock Tenor makes its debut this summer beginning July 8, starring vocalist Rob Evan (Broadway performer and lead singer for the multi-platinum band The Trans-Siberian Orchestra), who conceived the show with director Vincent Marini (former Producing Artistic Director of New Jersey's Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center) officially opens July 15 and closes August 23. The Rock Tenor fuses rock and roll anthems, Broadway classics, opera favorites, country rhythms and classical melodies in a unique performance that showcases these familiar works in a whole new light.
