September 12th kicks off an extensive Broadway Connection season in Houston with scheduled Master Classes at local studios including Dance Expressions, Robbin's Dance Studio, Upstage Arts and more as they introduce students to Broadway Connection Teachers, Marjorie Failoni from the cast of THE LITTLE MERMAID, Natalie Wisdom from the cast of MATILDA, Harvard graduate Evan Siegel from the cast of CABARET, and Paige Silvester, lead of SOUND OF MUSIC.
The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Diane Paulus, Artistic Director and William Russo, Managing Director; announced today that the 2014 recipient of the annual Robert Brustein Award is Rocco Landesman, a long-time Broadway theatre producer, who served as chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts from August 2009 to December 2012.

The Boston Theater Critics' Association hosted the 32nd anniversary presentation of the Elliot Norton Awards last night at the Wheelock Family Theatre. Barely before people were in their seats, the tap dancing ensemble of Stoneham Theatre's THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, led by Ephie Aardema, shuffled, ball changed, and kicked off the festivities. An enthusiastic Joyce Kulhawik, President of the BTCA, took the podium as Master of Ceremonies to introduce a parade of fellow critics and past winners as presenters, as well as two more nominated musical performances later in the program.

The Boston Theater Critics Association (BTCA) has announced over 25 nominations of actors, directors, designers and ensembles to be presented at 32nd Annual Elliot Norton Awards on Monday May 19 at The Wheelock Family Theatre.
The memorial will be held at 7:00pm tonight, Monday, November 18th in the theater of the Loeb Drama Center, 64 Brattle Street, Cambridge, and will be followed by a reception in the lobby of the theater. Doors will open at 6:15pm.

The celebration will include participation by friends, colleagues, and family who knew and loved Jeremy, and all are invited to attend.
According to published reports, founding member of both Yale Repertory Theatre and A.R.T., Jeremy Geidt, passed away in his Cambridge home from a heart attack on Tuesday, August 6. He was 83 years old.
