It involves a car chase down I-95 and the Cinderella Castle Suite at Disneyland, and a vision of Adelaide dancing in a magical white dress, and fireworks.

The Playwrights' Center is an internationally renowned play development center and artist service organization dedicated to supporting the development of playwrights and new plays. Core Writers and fellows are selected by independent panels composed of nationally recognized theater artists and leaders.

Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, has announced the Cycle A recipients for the third round of Global Connections. Supported by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, this grant program encourages reciprocity and cultural exchange throughout the world through ON the ROAD grants to foster new relationships with international colleagues and IN the LAB grants to further pre-existing international collaborations. Now in its third year, the Global Connections program awarded up to $5,000 to seven projects through ON the ROAD and $10,000 to three projects through IN the LAB.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Jonatha Brooke opens her one-woman show My Mother Has 4 Noses (http://4noses.org) at The Duke on 42nd Street. The new musical play, written and performed by Brooke, and directed by Jeremy B. Cohen, has already played to sold-out houses at The Playwright's Center, Minneapolis, in August; at The Philly Fringe Fest at World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, in September; and again at the Guthrie Theater's Dowling Studio, Minneapolis, in December. Jonatha weaves 10 new songs through her experiences and stories -- the daily theatre of loving and caring for someone with dementia.
