Today in 1940, Pal oey opened at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre. Pal Joey is a musical with a book by John O'Hara (from his novel of the same title) and music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart based on a character and situations O'Hara created in a series of short stories published in The New Yorker. It includes two songs that have become standards: 'I Could Write a Book' and 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered'.

The Broadway Boys will perform on TODAY as one of Kathie Lee Gifford's 'favorite things' during the 10-11am hour today, December 10th. They will be singing 'Hark!' and discussing their benefit BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS, which will be held later that same day.

Joe's Pub will continue to host several benefits in support of Hurricane Sandy victims throughout the holiday season. The Broadway Boys will once again host Broadway's favorite holiday party and concert with the 7th Annual BROADWAY SINGS FOR TOYS: A Benefit for Toys for Tots, Monday, December 10th at 7pm. This year?s concert is a cocktail party/concert/toy drive featuring Broadway's hottest talent and is one of the most joyful and inspirational holiday events of the year.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, October 16th, ALLI MAUZEY will return to the role of Glinda in the Broadway company of WICKED. Ms. Mauzey played the role of Glinda on Broadway in 2009 and returns to the Gershwin Theatre directly from WICKED'S National Tour.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, July 31, KYLE DEAN MASSEY will return to the role of Fiyero in the Broadway company of WICKED. He joins a cast which currently includes Jackie Burns as Elphaba, Chandra Lee Schwartz as Glinda, Randy Danson as Madame Morrible, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond. Richard Blake, who is currently playing the role of Fiyero, will play his final performance on Sunday, July 29.
