Ford's Theatre is presenting the Washington premiere of the Tony-winning musical drama Parade, directed by Stephen Rayne. The production opened on September 23 and runs though October 30, 2011. The centerpiece of this year's programming for The Lincoln Legacy Project, Parade is based on the true story of Leo Frank's trial and lynching in early 20th-century Atlanta. Ostracized for his faith and Northern heritage, Jewish factory manager Leo Frank is accused of murdering a teenaged factory girl the day of the annual Confederate Memorial Day parade. Alfred Uhry's award-winning book and Jason Robert Brown's rousing, colorful and haunting score illuminate a circus of conflicting accounts, false testimony and mishandled evidence in a town reeling with social and racial tension. Isolated from the world, Leo develops a new and deeper love for his wife, who tirelessly crusades for his freedom. Tony-Award nominee Euan Morton stars as Leo Frank with Jenny Fellner as Lucille Frank in this compelling and provocative tale of justice miscarried. If I Were a Rich Man, Little Tin Box, Til Tomorrow, She Loves Me, Will He Like Me and Sunrise, Sunset are just a few of the tunes that were be brought to life on Monday, May 16, 2011, at New York's legendary National Arts Club. The Theatre Museum paid tribute to legendary Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick -- the Museums 2011 Career Achievement Award recipient. The award was presented from longtime colleague Hal Prince, winner of an unprecedented 21 Tony Awards.

Classic tunes from Fiddler on the Roof, Fiorello!, She Loves Me, The Apple Tree, and others will fill the air at New Yorks legendary National Arts Club on Monday May 16, 2011 as The Theatre Museum pays tribute to famed Broadway lyricist Sheldon Harnick -- its 2011 Career Achievement Award recipient.

Beginning performances on Tuesday, May 3, TOM McGOWAN will assume the role of The Wizard in the Broadway company of WICKED. He joins a cast which includes Teal Wicks as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Kathy Fitzgerald as Madame Morrible, Richard H. Blake as Fiyero, Etai BenShlomo as Boq, Jenny Fellner as Nessarose, and Tom Flynn as Dr. Dillamond.

Tony Nominee Melissa Errico joined a slate of outstanding artists from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and other mediums for 'The Bridge: Where Hope and Respect Come Together,' a benefit concert celebrating the work of the Crime Victims Treatment Center starting at New World Stages. Performers and volunteers for this amazing evening came together to ensure that the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC)-located at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center-can continue its groundbreaking work empowering survivors of violent crimes including sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence. The event was conceived of and organized by former clients of CVTC who were moved to give back to the program that helped them heal.

WICKED will honor the Actors Fund with a special, added performance on Sunday, April 3 at 8pm at the Gershwin Theatre. All procedes will go to benefit The Actor's Fund's programs and services. The Actors Fund is a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment. The Fund is a safety net, providing programs and services for those who are in need, crisis or transition.

Teal Wicks began performances in the role of Elphaba in the Broadway company of WICKED on February 1, 2011. Wicks is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles productions of WICKED. BroadwayWorld brought you the first shots of Wicks as Elphaba back in February and brings you some new shotsof Wicks below with the newest company!

Teal Wicks began performances in the role of Elphaba in the Broadway company of WICKED on February 1, 2011. Ms. Wicks is making her Broadway debut after playing the role of Elphaba in both the San Francisco and Los Angeles productions of WICKED.

Current Elphaba, Mandy Gonzalez plays her final performance today in WICKED at the 3pm matinee. She joined the show back on March 23, 2010.

UnsungMusicalsCo. Inc. (www.UnsungMusicals.org) will launch its new initiative The Archival Project with a special exploratory reading of the 1947 musical comedy Barefoot Boy With Cheek on January 14 at 3pm at Manhattan Theatre Club's Creative Center, 311 West 43rd Street.

ABC President Paul Lee spoke with reporters in more detail about the announced WICKED miniseries. 'It's epic, it's romantic, and it's very much within our brand,' he said. 'We're in the development stage. I don't know if we're going to get there, but the notion of having it resonate elsewhere in the company [is] a very good thing for us.'

Gregory Maguire's 'Wicked' will be hitting the small screen. The novel, source material for the enormously successful musical adaptation by Stephen Schwartz, will be produced by ABC Studios.
