New York Stage and Film has announced that its annual Winter Gala will honor two titans of the entertainment industry: four-time Academy Award nominee Annette Bening and famed architect and Tony- and Emmy-winning scenic designer David Rockwell.

The Public Theater presents the first major New York revival of Plenty, written by David Hare. Directed by five-time Tony Award nominee David Leveaux, the show began performances on Tuesday, October 4 and will now run through Thursday, December 1. The World Premiere of BIG SKY written by Alexandra Gersten-Vassilaros and brilliantly directed by John Rando (Tony and Outer Critics Award winner for Urinetown) at the Gil Cates Theater at the Geffen Playhouse fits in nicely with the theme of the Geffen's upcoming 'Moments of Truth' season as revelations spoken by each cast member finally allow them to drop all pretense and work together toward a goal for their common good. And while the ending seems a bit obscure at first, listening to everyone talking about it as they were leaving the theater convinced me that something thought-provoking had just been shared with all of us.

Geffen Playhouse's starry world premiere of BIG SKY, written by Pulitzer Prize finalist Alexandra Gersten-Vassilaros, opens tonight, June 15. The production runs through July 17, 2016.

John Rando (Tony and Outer Critics Award winner for Urinetown) directs production starring Arnie Burton (Flesh and Bone) as Jonathan, Emily Robinson (Transparent) as Tessa, Jon Tenney (The Closer, Major Crimes, Scandal) as Jack, and Jennifer Westfeldt (Kissing Jessica Stein, Ira & Abby, Friends With Kids) as Jen.

The 15th annual Tribeca Film Festival (TFF), presented by AT&T, today announced its jurors - a diverse group of industry leaders, including award-winning actors, acclaimed filmmakers, writers, entrepreneurs, artists and cultural leaders.

On Monday evening, March 7, at 7 p.m. with every seat in Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater occupied, 400 chorus members of the Young People's Chorus of New York City filled the stage and the balcony boxes above, while YPC Artistic Director Francisco J.
