Funky Little Theater Company Presents HATE MAIL, Now thru 9/26
Funky Little Theater Company, the newest, grooviest, funkiest theatre in town, has seen the regional premiere of five productions in its short time here in Colorado Springs. FLTC is now very proud to present its newest regional premiere, a comedy by Bill Corbett and Kira Obolensky, Hate Mail.
This production will have performances tonight, September 18th - September 26th, 2015 (Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm). All tickets are $15 and can be purchased online or at the door (www.funkylittletheater.org). Thursday tickets are only $11. Funky Little Theater Company accepts cash, check or most major credit cards. All performances will be at Funky Little Theater Company located at 2109 Templeton Gap Road, 80907. This production features performances by Jennifer Westrom and Joshua Caleb Grant. Hate Mail is directed by Funky Artistic Director, Chris Medina.
Hate Mail is an epistolary play something like Love Letters, with two actors reading letters and other correspondence, but it's a little wilder and more hysterically funny. It tells the story of Preston, a spoiled rich kid who meets his match in Dahlia, an angst-filled artist. Their worlds collide when Preston sends a complaint letter that gets Dahlia fired from her job, and then there's no turning back. The play stays with their increasingly crazed correspondence as they move from hate to love, and then right back again.
