On Saturday, July 13, from 10 am until 12 noon, Better Lemons and Theatre West will be hosting the Producers Panel "Show Me the Money!" with some of LA's premiere theatrical producers sharing their fundraising success stories and secrets. This panel discussion will provide a great opportunity for LA's vast theatrical community to ask questions on what it takes to produce a show in Los Angeles. The "Show Me the Money!" event will be a panel discussion and a conversation with the audience to address specific situations and opportunities. All of the panelists are producers with a diverse background of fundraising experience, from attracting wealthy benefactors to leveraging public funds.

Today, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the initial line-up for the 2019 SCAD aTVfest, Atlanta's only festival dedicated to television. Robert Molloy, grandson of George Steinbrenner, Kristian Krempel, President of FX Group and Joseph Restaino, Partner, Character Brigade have joined forces to create Pinstripe Productions, LLC, a new production company based in Florida. Pinstripe will focus on bringing film production back to the Sunshine State. Molloy, Krempel and Restaino will each retain the title of Partner in the new venture. The company's first project is currently in development and will start filming in the fall with a release planned for 2020.

Jennifer Morrison's SUN DOGS Wins Best Picture At Mammoth Film Festival

The inaugural Mammoth Film Festival came to a close last night with a standing-room only Awards Ceremony held at the Canyon Lodge in Mammoth Lakes, CA. Jennifer Morrison took home the top prize, Best Picture for her film Sun Dogs which closed the festival earlier that day. Sun Dogs also took home a total of 3 Awards last night, including the Grand Jury Prize. The film was recently Acquired by Netflix. The indie thriller Josie starring Sophie Turner also took home 3 Awards. Screen Media recently acquired the film and will release it in theaters and On Demand in March. Sophie Turner won the Best Actress Award. Sons of St. Clair the documentary chronicling Bone Thugs N Harmony's Krayzie Bone & Bizzy Bone Directed by Tim Newfang took home Best Documentary Award.
