Aurora Theatre Company presents SPLENDOUR, Opening 6/23

Aurora Theatre Company closes its 25th season with the Bay Area Premiere of SPLENDOUR, Abi Morgan's (Suffragette, The Iron Lady, Shame, The Hour) riveting play about the fragility of power and the unreliability of language. Barbara Damashek (American Buffalo) returns to Aurora to helm this drama, featuring Lorri Holt (The Aspern Papers), Denmo Ibrahim (Betrayed), Mia Tagano, and Sam Jackson. The Tacoma theater community is coming together to support the victims of the Orlando massacre with a special one night only staged reading of The Laramie Project on Sunday, June 26th at 7:30pm. The event will be held at Tacoma Little Theatre. The brainchild of Rachel Fitzgerald, this benefit came from a simple question. 'What can I do?'

Jon Tracy, who directed Aurora's productions of Gidion's Knot and The Elaborate Entrance of Chad Deity, helms BREAKFAST WITH MUGABE, featuring L.
