Novato Theater Company continues its 2017-208 season with Chicago, Broadway's longest-running American musical, with music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb, and book by Ebb and Bob Fosse. Set in Prohibition-era Chicago, the musical is based on a 1926 play about actual criminals and their crimes. Friday's Tennessee Supreme Court decision to overturn the murder conviction of Noura Jackson in the 2005 brutal stabbing of her mother, Jennifer Jackson, was anticipated by Lisa C.
