Jujamcyn Theaters Receives Inaugural Green Broadway Award

The Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) has announced the creation of a new award, the Green Broadway Award, to honor an individual, show or organization for outstanding achievement in making Broadway more environmentally friendly.

Electronic Recyclers International (ERI), the nation's leading recycler of electronics and e-waste, joined forces with the Broadway Green Alliance (BGA) for a special e-waste collection event to take place right in the heart of Times Square in New York City on Wednesday, September 17. Many of Broadway's leading shows and stars got involved and encouraged fans of live theatre - and all residents of New York City in general - to take advantage of the opportunity to unload unwanted electronics while doing something good for the environment. Jujamcyn Reorganizes Top Management; Hollingworth Joins Team

Variety reports today that the Jujamcyn Theatre organization has undergone some restructuring at the top. Says Jujamcyn's President, Jordan Roth, in Variety: 'We restructured our senior team in an effort to work more effectively with both our theatergoers and our theatermakers to deliver a remarkable experience.'
