Fidelity FutureStage enabled over 600 NYC students from 10 different public schools to get a real view into the world of Broadway theater. Students learn firsthand from industry professionals about acting, playwriting, directing and all the behind-the-scenes production. Each of the participating schools also had a play that was selected to represent them at the gala finale performed by the students.The Fidelity FutureStage Finale took place at New World Stages June 2nd and 3rd.

After seven months, the Fidelity FutureStages' theater education program reached the end of its inaugural year. On May 21 and May 23, at New World Stages, the hard work and creativity of more than 800 New York City students was showcased with the finale performances of 10 student-written plays - one representing each of the 10 inner-city schools participating in Fidelity FutureStages
A revised version of Paul Scott Goodman's musical Bright Lights, Big City will have its premiere at Harvard University as a free semi-staged reading.
