JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR opened at the Arvada Center  last night, March 21, and will run thru April 16, 2017.

Emmy Award-winning actor Peter Macon will headline the Colorado Shakespeare Festival's 2015 professional acting company, which also features a real-life Shakespeare love story, a reunion of old friends and perennial favorites in challenging new roles.

Tonight, January 29 at 7:30, Phamaly Theatre Company premieres its production of the musical The Fantasticks at the Aurora Fox Arts Center, which will run for three weekends before encoring at the Arvada Center for three performances on February 27, 28 and March 1. From there, the NEA-award winning theatre troupe will travel the show for its first international performance in Osaka, Japan at the International Communications Center for Persons with Disabilities-also known as Big-i. 'The Fantasticks' is a hilarious and moving tale of two young lovers, their meddling fathers and the wall that divides them. The Colorado Theatre Guild's 9th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, 6901 Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and a silent auction. The awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. The Colorado Shakespeare Festival has announced its 2014 season cast, featuring television and film actor Michael Winters, luminaries from the Denver Center Theatre Company, returning favorites and stars from CSF's smash-hit 2013 season.

Tennessee Williams' deeply moving and haunting classic about false hope and great expectations, presented by the award-winning Phamaly Theatre Company. Set in the Depression, an aging Southern Belle longs for her youth and dreams of a better life for her children. Her restless son Tom-a would-be poet and the story's narrator-gets swept up in his mother's heartbreaking schemes to find his painfully shy and disabled sister, Laura, a husband. The family struggles together with the past, the future, and one another.

Phamaly Theatre Company presents its newest touring musical for the whole family. Watch as the Velveteen Rabbit, the most modest toy in the nursery, earns the love of a young boy and learns about the joy and pain of becoming 'real.' Margery Williams' classic book springs to magical life in this enchanting musical about love, loss, and self-esteem - with music by the composer of the smash Off-Broadway revue I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change; Book and Lyrics by James Still; and music by Jimmy Roberts, this one hour family-friendly musical takes on a new dimension of love, acceptance, and true humanity as presented by the award-winning Phamaly Theatre Company.
