Six talented writers are joining The Playwriting Collective in 2017! Starting in February Alex Rubin, Jeffrey James Keyes, John Carhart, Kate Garfield, Wi-Moto Nyoka, and Katie Fabel will meet for a 6-week period with Artistic Directors Joshua Young and Phillip Christian in an effort to create several new full-length plays. The Playwriting Collective puts the playwright first and cultivates work that is transmedia. This year the participating playwrights will be motivated to indulge their imaginations and tell stories that are armed with all the weapons of modern stagecraft.
