Broken Watch Theatre Company (Drew DeCorleto, Artistic Director) will present Sex Good; Money Bad, two one-act's by Michael Weller, directed by Tony Speciale and Drew DeCorleto.

Musical theatre enthusiasts eager for new offerings from bourgeoning songwriters were treated to a smorgasbord of songs at the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop biannual showcase, held November 3 at the Marjorie S Deane Little Theatre in New York. The showcase, presented in association with the Musical Mondays Theatre Lab, featured 14 new songs from a crop of lyricists and composers who are members of the Workshop, deemed 'the Harvard of musical theatre' by the New York Times.

BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop songwriters Kellen Blair, Joe Kinosian, Jeff Blumenkrantz, Raymond Bokhour, Simon Gray, Beth Falcone, Michele Foor, David Gaines, Matthew Hardy, Randy Klein, Mary Liz McNamara, Andy Monroe, Michael Ogborn, Adam Overett, Matt Van Brink, Charlie Sohne and Jeff Ward to present new works.

Mother of Invention Theatre Company, under the direction of founder and Artistic Director Gina Stahlnecker will celebrate the 100th year since Tennessee Williams' birth with the seldom seen study in moral squalor, SMALL CRAFT WARNINGS. The production will close on February 27, 2011. The production will run off-Broadway at Theatre Row (Studio Theatre - 410 West 42nd St.) Austin Pendleton will direct.

The BMI-Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop announces its Spring Smoker, a semi-annual showcase for new songs from Workshop writers. The event will be held at the The Actors Temple Theatre, 339 West 47th Street, (between 8th and 9th Aves) at 5:30PM and is open to members of the entertainment industry as well as Workshop members.
