Performers from the Las Vegas Strip and beyond came together on Sunday, Oct. 19 at The Sands Showroom at The Venetian Las Vegas for one special mission - to raise awareness and funds for the disorder known as Neurofibromatosis (NF) for the Fourth Annual NF Hope Concert. Spearheaded by JERSEY BOYS star, Jeff Leibow, the afternoon affair included performances by noteworthy entertainers, including Veronic, Clint Holmes, American Idol finalist Jasmine Trias, Ben Stone, Kristen Hertzenberg, stars of Jersey Boys, Cast of Million Dollar Quartet and the Cast of Rock of Ages.

New York-New York Hotel & Casino Breaks Fundraising Record with Over $112K Raised During St. Baldrick's Day Event

New York-New York Hotel & Casino and Nine Fine Irishmen raised more than $112,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation this past Saturday, March 1, tripling last year's amount. Guests came out to show their support and cheer on fellow head-shavers in barber chairs at the property's new outdoor plaza on the Brooklyn Bridge. All of the proceeds raised benefit the St. Baldrick's Foundation and will go toward childhood cancer research.

Many show business greats have been honored by the Friars Club, and have performed before an audience of entertainment savvy members at the club house on 55th street. Nicole Henry was the latest addition to that list on Feb. 10. This great tradition was continued in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room with an event produced by Friar Historian Bruce Charet and co-produced by Friar Jeff Leibowitz. Singer/pianist Loston Harris was also on the bill. Rosario Dawson hosted the evening of great dining and great music.

Friar Neil Sedaka, wife Leba and daughter Dara were in the Frank Sinatra Room of the Friars Club last night to attend a Tribute Show to Connie Francis and Neil Sedaka. Jenna Esposito and Jim Van Slyke performed the hit songs of Connie & Neil and the show was produced by Jeff Leibowitz, Laura Slutsky and Jenna. Friar Bill Boggs hosted. A special Tribute Menu was presented by Friars Chef Anatoly Veksler. It consisted of "Stupid Cupid Vegetables, Mama's Potato Crusted Brook Trout, Roasted Loin of Veal Is Hard To Do, Artichoke & Peppers On Your Collar Chicken Breast and Where The Chocoholics Are Pyramid." Connie Francis was present via a wonderful video message. An emotional highlight of the evening was when Neil was "coaxed" to take the piano bench. He sang a song he wrote for his cousin who recently passed away..Eydie Gorme.

Last night, (Sunday, Sept. 22), the cast of Vegas' smash hit Jersey Boys took over PURE Nightclub as they hosted an unforgettable Fashion/Show Sundays affair under the stars. After wrapping up their show, the performers made their way to the hot spot and up to their VIP booth located on PURE's iconic Terrace. The cast, seemingly in good spirits, immediately got the party started as they settled into their booth, toasted to another successful show and mingled with partygoers. Mangia, Mangia! Where there are meatballs, the celebrities are sure to follow. The Jersey Boys Las Vegas cast celebrated the friends and family opening of Carmine's on the Las Vegas Strip this weekend. The legendary Italian restaurant is a long time favorite of Broadway stars, and the new location at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace was not without star power during its dress rehearsals.
