Omaha Community Playhouse to Present Free Staged Reading of BLOODY, BLOODY, ANDREW JACKSON 10/31

A staged reading of Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson will be held at the Omaha Community Playhouse as part of the Alternative Programming series Monday, October 31 at 8:00 p.m. in OCP's Howard Drew Theatre. The showing is free and open to the public with the opportunity for donation. No tickets or reservations are necessary. This staged reading will have a later start time than usual due to Halloween activities.

At the center of it all is Sara, a young mother and wife who seems to have it all but longs for her dangerous past and begins a love affair with her old boyfriend. As events unfold, the audience is along for the ride with every twist of the story. Murder Ballad is a steamy and fun thriller with a razor's edge. Contains situations of infidelity, adult language and mild violence.

This is something you're gonna wanna see! THE PRODUCERS, a Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan musical masterpiece of mayhem, has opened at the Omaha Community Playhouse. In typical Mel Brooks fashion, it sweeps you off into a tornadic whirlwind of slapstick, clever innuendos, and just plain foolishness. But even a piece as good as this would not be as funny as it's meant to be without the right cast and crew to pull it off. This bunch does.
