A. D. Players' Theater Arts Academy has announced three summer acting camps at a new satellite location, Westbury Christian School, in addition to the day camps currently being offered at A. D. Players' Saint Street Annex. Students will work together to create a showcase production, hone their acting skills, and perform for family and friends at the end of the camp.

Founder and Artistic Director Jeannette Clift George today announced A. D. Players' 2013-2014 MainStage season of 'Favorites' including a Pulitzer prize winning play, a famous comedy, and an iconic musical.

The World Premiere of The Jungle Book at A. D. Players' Children's Theater, exceeded sales goals, closing on May 4th with over 90% of seats sold. The theater added three shows to the three week run to meet demand, with most shows selling out. The play was written by Will Ledesma and adapted from the classic adventure book by Rudyard Kipling.

The 2013 Texas Christian Film Festival will be honoring Houstonian Jeannette Clift George with their first Lifetime Achievement Award for her work in Christian Films including her Golden Globe nominated performance in 'The Hiding Place.' The presentation will be made during the screening of 'The Hiding Place' on Saturday February 16, 2013.
