George Theater (George Theater). Charlotte's Web runs March 15 through April 1 with matinee performances only, catering to Houston-area families and school groups. The play is the second of six notable plays coming to the George Theater in 2017. A. D. Players recently completed a 4-week run of To Kill a Mockingbird to rave reviews, both of the show and of the new 440-seat, state-of-the-art performance venue.

A.D. Players, one of Houston's oldest and largest resident theater companies, has moved its troupe from the Grace Theater to its new 440-seat venue, the Jeannette and L.M. George Theater (George Theater). The Players completed its 39-year run at the 212-seat Grace Theater in December. To Kill a Mockingbird will be the first show performed at the new $18 million George Theater, just in time for the A.D. Players' 50th anniversary season. The American classic, dramatized by Christopher Sergel, runs February 12 - March 5, and is the first of six notable plays coming to the George Theater in 2017.

A.D. Players, one of Houston's oldest and largest resident theater companies, is performing its final play, O Little Town of Bagels, Teacakes and Hamburger Buns, at its current home at Grace Theater before moving to a new, $18 million facility in early 2017. Bagels was written by A. D. Players' founder and artistic director Jeannette Clift George in 1984, and has been performed multiple times based on popular demand. Scroll down for photos!
