Vampire Cowboys' ALICE IN SLASHERLAND Returns to NYC, Now thru 11/2

For VC's 12th Season, 'NYC's Best Army of Geeks' brings its critically acclaimed show, ALICE IN SLASHERLAND, back to NYC! Now featuring an updated script, new fights, new special FX, and introducing VC's own Robert Ross Parker in the role of Edgar the Demonic Bear! This Halloween, come party with the Geeks for Vampire Cowboys Alice in Slasherland. Written by Qui Nguyen and directed by Robert Ross Parker, the show will feature: Tom Myers, Eugene Oh, Robert Ross Parker, Nicky Schmidlein, Bonnie Sherman and Emily Williams. The show runs tonight, October 24 - November 2, 2013.

Vampire Cowboys' ALICE IN SLASHERLAND to Return to NYC, 10/24-11/2

Austin Pendleton Directs LUFT GANGSTER at Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, Now thru 8/24

The story of U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and prisoner of war Sgt. Louis Fowler is told in the world premiere of Lowell Byers' gripping and visceral drama Luft Gangster. Directed by Austin Pendleton, Luft Gangster will be performed from today, August 13th - August 24th at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre, located at 312 West 36th Street, on the first floor. Members of the press are invited as of the August 15th performance.

The Amoralists Add 7/13 & 20 Performances of RANTOUL AND DIE at Cherry Lane

Due to popular demand, The Amoralists have added two additional performances of Mark Roberts' Rantoul and Die. Directed by Jay Stull, Rantoul and Die features critically-acclaimed performances by Derek Ahonen, Sarah Lemp, Matthew Pilieci and Vanessa Vache - all members of The Amoralists' 50-member ensemble.

In the seven years since its founding, the Company has successfully produced 16 productions of ten plays, including nine world premieres, and has quickly moved from basement theaters to Off-Broadway. On the heels of these accomplishments, The Amoralists will kick off 'The Summer of The Amoralists' season with the New York premiere of Mark Roberts' Rantoul and Die, directed by Jay Stull and featuring performances by Derek Ahonen, Sarah Lemp,Matthew Pilieci and Vanessa Vache - all members of The Amoralists' 50-member ensemble.

Gideon Productions Opens FRANKENSTEIN UPSTAIRS, 6/14

Gideon Productions (NYIT Outstanding Premiere Production of a Play Award for Advance Man) will present the World Premiere of playwright Mac Rogers' (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Viral) modern horror story FRANKENSTEIN UPSTAIRS, June 14-30 at The Secret Theatre (44 02 23rd Street, Long Island City). The production will be directed by Jordana Williams (The Honeycomb Trilogy; Viral) and will feature Autumn Dornfeld* (The Graduate on Broadway; Beebo Brinker Chronicles at NYTW), Rob Maitner* (Mr. McQueen in the original cast of Urinetown!), Diana Oh (Rob Askins' P.S. Jones and the Frozen City; Mariah MacCarthy's The Foreplay Play), and Kristen Vaughan* (Amelia in The Honeycomb Trilogy; NYIT Award for Outstanding Actress in a Lead Role for Retro Productions Benefactors). The creative team will include Special Effects by Stephanie Cox-Williams, Costume Design by Amanda Jenks, Sound Design by Jeanne Travis, Lighting Design by Jennifer Linn Wilcox, and Set Design bySandy Yaklin. Milan Stitt's drama THE RUNNER STUMBLES, presented by Retro Productions and The Bleecker Company, in association with The Arclight Theatre at The Arclight Theatre (152 West 71st Street) concludes its limited Off-Broadway run today, May 20. Peter Zinn, who helmed Retro Productions' revivals Michael Frayn's BENEFACTORS and Sally Nemeth's HOLY DAYS, directs.
