Michelle Gomez has departed the cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at The Old Vic, due to personal reasons. The role of Nurse Ratched will now be played by Olivia Williams. All performances are scheduled to go ahead as planned.

The Luke Westlake Scholarship supports a working-class student through their last year of study and first year entering the industry as a performer. It was awarded to the Melodie Karczewski from Thanet, Kent, during a ceremony at the Turbine Theatre, Battersea Power Station on Sunday evening, attended by the 8 shortlisted performers, panelists, and industry professionals.
The Luke Westlake Scholarship, is an award designed to provide an actor with financial and developmental support worth over £4,000 in their final year and as they graduate from university or drama school, and begin to navigate their way into the industry.
